Mary Johnson Consultant at Bird Dog Consulting

Mary Johnson, CPA

Consultant

In 2005, Mary moved into the real estate business, becoming a broker in 2008. During her time as a broker, she was the CFO of the company and sold real estate. This includes reconciling, tax preparation, accounts receivable and billing and payables. Mary oversaw all the financials of the business while we were generating over $1,000,000 in commissions. At that time, we had over 40 salespersons licensed in our company. During that time, she so much enjoyed the accounting aspects of the company and working with business owners, that she decided to enroll in the tax preparation courses at HR Block.

From there, Mary spent 7 years in public accounting, realizing her absolute favorite thing was working one-on-one with business owners preparing Financial Statements. This is where Mary brings that to you to help you bridge your transactions to your Financial Statements.

Mary graduated with her B.B.A from the University of Georgia with a minor in math in 1991. Mary got her MS from Georgia State University in 2002.

She has also taught an introduction to Accounting and Payroll Accounting at Chattahoochee Technical College, in Marietta, GA for over 5 years.
